Remel, based in Lenexa, KS, knows the benefit and value of using high-quality products. As a part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, the world leader in serving science, Remel wouldn’t accept less than the best when they needed a high-speed door installed. Nergeco fit the bill and allowed them to efficiently make use of this high-traffic access door by reducing heating and cooling costs and decreasing the number of insects entering the facility.
The rolling door’s high-speed activation system includes photoeye sensors to allow safe and efficient passage for people and equipment. Another benefit and key factor in Remel’s decision was Nergeco’s patented reinsertion system. This system eliminates downtime and in turn would save on their maintenance costs in case of accidental contact with the door. Installation was trouble-free and achieved quickly with skilled workers. Remel needed not just a door, but a solution and Warestar was pleased to help by bringing these two exceptional companies together.
Remel also came to Warestar when they needed an environmentally controlled clean room for laboratory research. By using Portafab's modular clean room system, Warestar was able to provide a solution that could be installed quickly with minimal contamination and interruptions. The Portafab modular clean room system also allows for easy modifications as Remel's business dictates.
In the past several years Warestar has also provided products such as pallet racking, wire decking, workbenches, plastic containers, ladders, wall systems, shelving, gravity conveyors, guardrails and custom stainless steel products. WareStar will continue to be a valued partner for the ever-changing needs of Remel.
