Caterpillar Worldwide, known as one of the most reliable and respected names in the equipment industry, selected Warestar to pilot the project when it came time to build a South American distribution center in Ecuador.
As a global leader of industrial equipment, it was necessary to create a facility that could handle the pressure and demand of the Caterpillar shipping networks. IIASA and the warehousing support group at Caterpillar, known as MPSD, required expert advice and dependable material handling solutions for their Guayaquil operation. They turned to Warestar for layout and design expertise as well as the ability to provide Caterpillar approved materials. Warestar was able to supply affordable and high quality shelving systems that perform extremely well in this very demanding environment.
